Shiraki Yuko runs a tiny izakaya that her late father left her, but business has dried up during the recession. A loan collector named Nakai shows up demanding the 30 million yen debt her father owed. He pushes her to sell the place, arguing it will never turn a profit. She refuses to give up the shop she inherited and decides to take on the debt, though the first payment date arrives before she has the money.
